C. Chip Goss

Mr. Goss has been practicing in the courtroom for over twenty-five years.  His extensive experience includes high stakes franchise, banking and investor disputes, construction defects, real property claims, intellectual property, employment, personal injury and civil rights cases.  Mr. Goss has significant courtroom experience with many jury trials.  He has pursued civil claims to settlement, arbitration, trial and appeal in Federal courts and throughout Washington state courts.  Whether representing a corporation in a large class action lawsuit or a homeowner in a neighborhood dispute, Mr. Goss’s practice emphasizes individual attention to each client’s needs inside and outside the courtroom.

Education

Mr. Goss earned his Juris Doctor cum laude from the University of Puget Sound School of Law, and has a Bachelor of Arts in History/Political Science from the University of Washington.

Admitted to Practice

Mr. Goss is admitted to practice before all Washington state courts, the United States District Court for Western Washington, the United States Bankruptcy Court for Western Washington and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.   Mr. Goss also has appeared pro hac vice in courts in California and Florida.

Accolades

Mr. Goss is a three-time American Jurisprudence Award Winner.  He is a former member of the Alumni Board at Seattle University School of Law and has coached its regional trial competition teams.  He also has taught trial techniques to other lawyers.

Community

Mr. Goss is a volunteer attorney for the Neighborhood Clinic program of the King County Bar Association, an officer and board member of the West Seattle Soccer Club, a musician and a podcast host.
